Now, all the users of the devices running on Google's Android OS will have an easier time managing their important contacts in the Google services. In an official Google+ post, the Internet giant has recently said that their respective users can now star individuals in their Google Contacts lists and these will be synced more easily than ever.
Google has said that just like how any user can star important messages in their inbox, people can now star the individuals in their Google Contacts list. Those contacts that the user stars will automatically be placed into the 'Starred' group so that people can quickly and easily look up their information.
For the Android users, Google has said that the starred contacts will stay in synced with their Android Favorites. And on the other hand, starring a contact on the desktop will star that same person in one's Android contacts, and its vice-versa, so people can see and manage their contacts seamlessly wherever they may be.
Another separate report on The Next Web has said that there is still a bit of their effort involved as the users having to keep their starred/favorites list updated regularly.
With today’s additions, the Google Inc. is making sure that the user has control over their phone; and if you don’t want to favorite anyone, you do not have to. The side benefit for Google Inc. is they can now avoid some potential privacy complaints regarding this contact lists being shared without permission.
