The Russian punk group Pussy Riot has lost its most prominent pair. Members of the brazen musical group have severed relations with Maria Alyokhina and Nadezhda Tolokonnokiva. They claim the two had sold out to the establishment’s values.

At the exact moment when they are being welcomed by the rest of the world, the two most prominent members of punk group Pussy Riot have been disowned by the disgruntled six individuals that have been left behind after their departure. The two, nicknamed Masha and Nadia, had already spent almost a year and a half in prison due to agitation against Putin

Now however they had lost touch with their original ideals and appeared alongside Madonna in a concert in New York. The six who signed the letter furthermore said that the original manifesto had been betrayed by the two. They preferred to remain anonymous.

Meanwhile, Nadia and Masha have happily bid farewell to the six who begrudge them their newly found fame. They say they understand their concern and would in fact have liked to meet them in person. But due to their reluctance to even acknowledge their existence, the two have decided to forgo a rendezvous in person.

The two appeared at an Amnesty International concert where they hobnobbed with Madonna. The angry six meanwhile have spoken out against all capitalistic propaganda. They say that common entertainment is not their style. Instead, what they stand for is resistance and feminism. And the two renegades had given up on the real purpose behind the formation of the group.
