Smartphone industry faces challenges just like any other sector in the information and communication technology field. The challenges have always triggered further research on ways of improving performance of the Smart phone gadgets.

Video calling on Smart phone was necessitated by Skype, a Microsoft application that enabled video chats, sending, and receiving of calls and text messages.

BlackBerry 10 owners experienced problems with video chats when using Skype application. This problem has been solved, thanks to the new update to the application. BlackBerry users are now able to comfortably chat with other online colleagues who have enabled Skype software on their device. The devices range from any Windows-enabled mobile device to Macintosh personal computers.

The upgraded software for BlackBerry is now called the ‘BlackBerry World’ which can easily be installed on BlackBerry 10 device. The new application has improved the chat video quality that was initially experiencing unnecessary bugs. Many Black Berry 10 users are happy with this free update and thanked Microsoft Company for being considerate of the difficulties they were experiencing.

BlackBerry 10, as result of the new update, continues to enjoy the good customer relations it struggled to build for the last couple of years.
