Walker’s eighth season on the PGA Tour began just about four months ago and it is quite evident from results that at the moment the start is having a hard time finding his glory. What could be more upsetting than having no wins at all even after having 187 attempts. But the stars were after all shining down at him as he held on for his third victory in the last eight tournaments in the AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am. We have only known a few names such as Tiger Woods and David Duval who have managed to do so well and win as early as this in the season.

Walker was undoubtedly put up against two strong competitors. He had taken actions to avoid ending up beside Johnson who has got two victories at Pebble Beach and Renner has made five birdies on the back nine for a 67.
On the 11th hole, Walker was on his way where he made a 10 foot birdie but he confesses how much he hates the three-putting which is very obvious since he missed his par putt from 3 1/2 feet while three putting 17th for bogey. With a finish of 11-under 277, Walker has ended up as a lead in the Ryder Cup standings and has crossed Mickelson who was second place.
