The Korean tech giant, Samsung Inc. is going to open about 60 standalone stores across the European region in partnership with the Carphone Warehouse in a direct challenge to the American tech. giant, Apple Inc.
The outlets, which are found fitted out with the minimalist white and the blue interiors, is going to sell Samsung's full computing range from the laptops to their tablets, phones, and the smart watches. And, between 10 and 15 of the shops are expected to be in the United Kingdom – with the rest of the shops in the Ireland, Germany, Portugal, Sweden, Netherlands and Spain (where there are three pilot stores already).

The Samsung Inc. brand outlets, which will open in April, might not be able to match the opulence of the Apple Inc.'s flagship stores, which have sales of around $19bn (£11.5bn) and also, generate even more cash per square foot than any other retail chain in the whole world. But the famous South Korean group will most likely to gain a European presence in the next three months, which is estimated to be almost as large as that built by the Apple over a decade.
The US firm has got 98 wholly owned outlets in eight of the European countries. And among there, 37 are situated in the UK.
