Enterprise users consist mostly of the iOS devices and this might come as a surprise to all since the majority of the market share is now held by Android. This is a result of the analysis of a few numbers which have been given away by Good Technology, a company providing secure usage software for enterprise users.
73% of the total activations made in the fourth quarter of the last year comprised of iOS which showed a 1% increased as compared to the third quarter. On the other hand the activations for Android had decreased by 1% point and only formed 26% of the total activations made. Among the activated devices, iPhones got a share of 19% while out of the total activated phones, 54% were iPhones. Without any doubt, iOS is taking the lead with Android accounting for only 8.6% of the tablet activations. But there is a catch and the iOS fans must not take this study a bit too seriously because the Blackberry, which still remains an important part of the corporate world, has been eliminated and not taken into account.
The “geek mind” is concerned with more than just the latest iPhone rumors, or which company will win the gaming console wars. I4U is concerned with more than just the latest photo shoot or other celebrity gossip.
The “geek mind” is concerned with life, in all its different forms and facets. The geek mind wants to know about societal and financial issues, both abroad and at home. If a Fortune 500 decides to raise their minimum wage, or any high priority news, the geek mind wants to know. The geek mind wants to know the top teams in the National Football League, or who’s likely to win the NBA Finals this coming year. The geek mind wants to know who the hottest new models are, or whether the newest blockbuster movie is worth seeing. The geek mind wants to know. The geek mind wants—needs—knowledge.
