Besides the medal wins, the odd stories from Sochi are what get a lot of attention. This fact I guess inspired Jimmy Kimmel to attempt to fool the global media again with a fake video and story.
Jimmy Kimmel partnered up with Kate Hansen, who is a US Olympic luger right now in Sochi. She tweeted a video showing a wolf roaming her dorm. The story got picked up around the globe. Hansen's tweet got retweeted close to 2,500 times.
Last night Jimmy Kimmel revealed on his show that the video is fake and he is behind it. The prank is pretty creative and Jimmy Kimmel went to great length to make it authentic. The Sochi Olympics are the most expensive to date and will start on Feb. 7 with the secret opening ceremony. 2,500 athletes from 86 countries compete for the medals in 98 competitions at the Sochi Olympics.
