LG Electronics is all set to unveil its first ever compact smart phone LG G2 mini at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2014 in Barcelona, Spain. LG has already posted an image of its upcoming miniature smartphone G2 mini. And now the South Korean giant has officially revealed the specifications of a smaller version of LG G2.
LG G2 mini is a global mid-tier smart phone that was designed to meet the needs of millions of customers around the world. It will come with many of the G2’s premium UX features such as Guest Mode, Plug & Pop, Clip Tray and Capture Plus. These user-friendly UX features are present in all premium G Series flagship smartphones.

LG G2 mini specs include a 4.7-inch qHD screen having bright IPS display of 960x540 resolution, Android 4.4 KitKat OS, 8GB eMMC internal memory, 1GB RAM, SD card slot, 8MP rear shooter or 13MP rear camera for LATAMLTE version, 1.3MP front facing camera and 2440mAh removable battery.
G2 mini will come with powerful quad-core processor, 1.2 GHz MSM8926 Qualcomm quad-core chipset for a 3G LTE version and 1.7GHz Nvidia quad-core Tegra 4i for LATAM LTE version. It will provide a superb multitasking experience. Connectivity options include Bluetooth 4.0, A-GPS, WiFi and NFC (4G LTE version only).
LG will start rolling out G2 mini on a global level in March. It will be available in different variations and four vibrant color options depending on region. Single/Dual SIM, 3G/4G LTE versions of the device will be available in the following four color options: Titan Black, Lunar White, Red and Gold. However, the 3G Dual SIM model will be rolled out at first in March in CIS countries. This will be followed soon by its introduction in major markets of the Middle East, Latin America, Europe and Asia including Singapore, Hong Kong and Taiwan.
