Motorola has made quite an impressive mark with the mid ranger Moto G which has now become the company’s most successful and highest selling phone. An MWC press dinner revealed this piece of information as the facts were stated by senior vice president of product management in Motorola, Rick Osterloh who claimed that on every Moto G phone Motorola sells, it makes money on it. This success will continue to increase and the profits will further take a toll after the company’s acquisition by Lenovo is completed.
The success and popularity of the new Motorola phone doesn’t catch us by surprise. After all who would appreciate all the timely OS updates and perfect specs packed inside a strong build and all this offered in a much affordable price tag. The phone has received a positive feedback and a good response from all the markets where it was launched. Looks like Motorola is enjoying the road to fame and we are hearing some rumors that an updated version of the Moto X will soon be arriving (most probably by late summer).
