The times that are portrayed in the highly popular television show are the greedy 80s. It was the height of the Cold War between the United States and the Soviet Union. The husband and wife spy duo played by Keri and Matthew have a proper family life besides their moonlighting job as double agents.
Meanwhile, Keri has issues with her daughter in the series. It is like one moment she is dealing in underhand activities and the next she is arguing with her teenage daughter over some minor irritating behavior of hers.
The sharp slaps Rhys receives from Keri on set are part of the practice. He explained that while the two had great chemistry on set, she would be told by the producer to give him a slap on the face without notice. On the other hand the couple’s little girl has become a lady by now and she expects to be treated likewise. The storm and stress of family life is evident in the conflicts depicted on screen. Their daughter is shown as a bit precocious and she gets curious as to why her parents are so odd.
In real life, Keri Russell recently separated from her husband after seven years of marriage. She is super-buff and looked all dressed to kill at an event which took place a few days back. She has been said to be romantically involved with Rhys although the two have denied any such rumors.
