Not only did Tim Tebow a pretty entertaining T-Mobile Super Bowl Ad, he also is involved with phones in a totally different matter that gets quite some attention today.
Tim Tebow is the most famous football player who is not actually playing. I kind of like the guy, but he sure is polarizing and not everybody is his fan. He is still looking for a spot on an NFL team. He got a lot of attention during the Super Bowl for his funny Superbowl ad for T-Mobile. Watch that burner again below.

Today he is in the news because of a phone call that violated an NCAA rule during recruiting time. Ohio State mentions an 8 second phone call between Tim Tebow and Clifton Garrett as a self-reported NCAA violation. The story is pretty funny how this phone call came about.
According to BleacherReport Garrett wanted to reach his coach. Mayer told Garrett on the phone that he is on vacation and is having lunch with Tim Tebow. Garrett asked to speak to Tebow to wish him well for the season. Mind you that whole incident happened back in March of 2013. That short casual phone call is now recorded as an NCAA violation for Ohio State.
