evleaks posted a picture of a device with a Chrome logo and a leather finish
Samsung seems to be having quite some liking for the leather touch. It was given to its Galaxy Note 3 and now the faux-leather back version of its S4 is also here just before the coming of Galaxy S5. Since the new flagship is coming up, it might be a possibility that we would have yet another leather clad smartphone.
Once again we have evleaks to thank since they have given a slight look of a phone in a photo which shows the corner of the phone with its faux-leather back complete with stitching and it looks similar to what was featured on the Note 3 and the S4. This one however features a Chrome logo and though we don’t have the picture of the complete word, we can make out that it most probably spells ‘Chromebook’. So we can rightly believe that a Samsung leather clad Chromebook might be on its way. We still cannot be sure because evleaks hasn’t given away much information and all it managed to say along with the picture was ‘Samsung Galaxy Note 3 design language marches on…".
Samsung should not blindly adorn every device with a leather back because for some people the leather touch might feel a bit low rated and cheap and this is the last thing they would want when they are shelling hundreds of dollars on their Note 3. The mottled back of the S5 on the other hand looks just fine. But maybe this is only a way of looking at things because the Note 3 was a big hit and this clearly indicates that people loved it anyway.
For now everyone’s waiting for the S5 which is coming out on the 11th April and will almost cost £600 SIM free.
