Oral-B Toothbrush Now Comes with an Oral Care App

The latest in the line of dental health electronic devices is an Oral-B toothbrush. It literally allows your dentist to oversee your brushing and flossing habits. The interactive gadget runs on your smartphone application. And it has over 20 brushing routines which reach the hidden areas around your 32 teeth.

There is even an app that is exclusively for children. Called the Disney Magic Timer, it was manufactured in tandem with Disney Studios and is fueled by DreamPlay. For parents who are worried about their children’s dental hygiene, this is the ideal gadget.

Research shows that many kids skimp on oral care for their teeth. The fact that instead of two minutes, they spend less than one minute brushing their choppers is evidence for this trend of sloppiness and laziness.

The app includes Marvel characters to keep the kids interested in the otherwise dull and boring routine. Over a dozen personal animations and more than 1500 rewards exist on the platform to boot.

Furthermore, the application follows a 21 day regimen that is meant to establish excellent oral hygiene in kids. And the findings corroborate the facts. Youngsters do better at oral health tasks when using this particular app.

The Disney Magic Timer App by Oral-B is now available free on Apple App Store on iTunes and on Google Play. This two-minute timer app is a boon and a blessing indeed. It works with any Oral-B or Crest Pro-Health Stages products. The Pro-Health Stages product line includes Oral-B Pro-Health Stages Toothbrushes, Crest Pro-Health Stages Toothpastes, and Oral-B Pro-Health Stages Power Toothbrush.

Oral-B has also partnered with Olympic Gold Medalist and mother of two, Dominque Moceanu, to raise awareness about the importance of children’s oral care and garner excitement around the launch of the new app. The parents of children who use the app have been encouraged to share their little ones’ oral health activities via via pictures and videos on Instagram.

“As a mom, I know how impossible it can be to instill healthy oral care habits in my kids” said Moceanu. “I have gone to great lengths including singing our ABC's and tickling my children to get them to brush. That is why I am so excited to partner with Oral-B and use the new app with my children.”

NYC Sweepstakes started on March 3rd and will run through April 30th. Oral-B and Disney are celebrating the launch of this new app in NYC Sweepstakes. Consumers can enter for the chance to win an unforgettable Disney experience in New York City. The lucky winner will get a chance to go to Disney Studios. 5 more winners will receive travel kits, including Oral-B and Crest Pro-Health Stages products and a tablet to download the new Disney Magic Timer App by Oral-B.
