Michael Oher Shifts Allegiance to the Titans

Michael Oher is a southerner. And he is mighty proud of his roots. That is why he took the decision recently to scoot over to the Titans’ side. The Tennessee Titans have just signed him on for a $20 million contract that will last almost half a decade.

Michael Oher is in for an intense but satisfying career with the new team of players. They will be his companions from now onwards. Michael is more than six feet tall and weighs 310 pounds. He is one tough dude with an attitude to boot.

Michael Oher tweeted his new victory of sorts by saying “extremely happy and excited to be a Titan.” And Michael is a gentleman who also thanked the team and their fans on Twitter. He meanwhile has gotten hold of the opportunity of a lifetime.

The general manager of the Titans lauded Oher by saying that he was a big, strong and durable player. Furthermore, he said that this was one player who had experience playing left and right tackle. He welcomed Oher on board.

Michael Oher’s life is the stuff of legends. It even led to a movie being based on it. The film was titled “The Blind Side” and had Sandra Bullock in it.

Oher served the Ravens for a long time and gave them all he had in the way of versatility and dexterity. He was a powerful player with a devastating style of tackling others on the field.

Born in Memphis, Tennessee, Oher was one among a dozen kids. He has always been a lover of all things southern and always will be. In his four year stint with the Titans, Oher will be replacing the famous David Stewart. Best of Luck, Michael Oher!
