Best family cars-Mazda takes the lead

Mazda proves to be the winner when it comes to creating the best family cars

With the increase of car sales and the launch of newer models, the average family has a wide variety of vehicles to choose from and the ones who value their money the most, know that Mazda and GM give them the best experience. US News and World Report claims that the Best Cars for Families for the year 2014 include GM in six astounding categories, while Mazda in an impressive four categories. The category that is most in line with the concept of a family, i.e. the minivan has been won by Honda Odyssey’s van for the fourth time, having won previously in 2013, 2012 and 2011.

Best family cars such as the Odyssey are those prone to surviving in the harshest conditions pertaining to daily usage as reported by one of the senior most members of the American Honda, Mike Accavitti. This fourth consecutive victory is thus proof of how the Honda Odyssey reigns in this arena.

The awards won by Mazda include Best Hatchback, Best Compact SUV and Best Compact Car, awarded to the Mazda 3 hatch, Mazda 5 and Mazda3 respectively. Throughout the categories of best family cars, Mazda seems to come out as the winner. General Motors too has a number of its cars having awards acclaimed to, including the Cadillac, Chevrolet and Buick. The awards for Best Large SUV and Best Large Car with the Impala have been won by GM.
