We all know how unsuccessful the story of the iPhone 5c has been and while we were hearing news about the phone's units left in inventory, Apple devised a new way to handle the situation and improve sales. In order to fix the dent caused by the 5c, Apple has decided to bring a fix with a cheaper 8 GB version of the phone.
The 8 GB Apple iPhone 5c has already appeared on UK carrier O2's website with a variety of tariffs and prices. Talking about the promotional strategy of Apple, with the highest 43 quid a month contract the phone will be absolutely free and a £410 option is also available to users with a £13 plan. The new iPhone 5c version has also been listed by the French carrier SFR and in the coming days, a lot of other operators will join the bandwagon as well. It makes sense that anyoen who has offered the iPhone 5c will be giving away the newer version as well.
The Apple store in US still hasnt displayed the phone for sale but the new version is available in the UK Apple stores where it is being offered at £429, compared to £469 for the 16 GB model and £549 for the 32 GB.
