Tamara Ecclestone, the famous model and F1 heiress recently gave birth to a baby daughter. Her husband Jay Rutland and she named the little bundle of joy, Sophia. The meaning of the name is “wisdom” or “wise one”.
This is the first time Tamara has been pregnant and given birth. She is a gleeful mother who is positively glowing with the satisfaction of being a parent now. She stated the obvious on Instagram.
The words attached to the picture of mother and daughter went like this: “Welcome to the world, Sophia.” She also announced her daughter’s weight which is six pounds and nine ounces.

Ecclestone admits that her sister’s advent into motherhood made her give parenthood some serious thought. When she saw her sibling make such heartfelt sacrifices as getting up in the middle of the night for her baby, it touched a delicate chord within Ecclestone.
Speaking to HELLO! Tamara said, "It opened my eyes as to how all-consuming motherhood is. Petra gets up with Lavinia in the middle of the night – she's such a great mum. It also gave me a reality check that it isn't just about buying cute baby clothes."
The model and mum said that the gestures taught her an object lesson in giving, loving, caring and sharing. That was the moment she knew that she too wanted a family life with cute children. In the capacity of a fashionable celebrity, Tamara got a few stylish clothes for her small wonder.
The couple’s wedding was a star-studded affair that was financed by Tamara’s dad. Elton John played some songs at the wedding which may have cost Bernie more than a million dollars. Tamara has called her family the three musketeers. She is positively looking forward to parenthood and feels sure that her husband will equally participate in the process of childrearing.
