The new software update brings additions and deletions with a cleaner UI

With a couple of leaked screenshots, we have now got an insight into the upcoming BlackBerry OS 10.3 which is going to bring a much cleaner view of the new UI with a primary red and black theme. Some of the most prominent features and additions have been showcased through these leaked screenshots.

The first thing to be noticed is the absence of the icon shadow which fortunately has been removed though we are not sure whether this is a permanent change. To what we are speculating, this new change might only be an experimental thing which has been added to the minimalist style. The music player button on the other hand has been emphasized and this exemplifies the clearer view which the new UI will be getting. Surprisingly the keyboard has also faced some changes which include a completely new layout and a color scheme to go with it. A smart search screenshot also shows how the feature will look like a universal search of sorts.

Whenever there is a new update coming to the software, one is also excited for the changes in the camera setup and the new BB OS 10.3 seems to have done a pretty good job at that. The BlackBerry camera now gets a new timer, panorama mode, 720p video recording in both 30 and 60 fps and automatic HDR mode suggestion when the camera senses the conditions call for it. Since the new update promises to bring a cleaner UI, the camera UI is also included which now features a single red shutter. One of the most helpful changes made here include the phone's ability to disable the screen when it senses that it is inside a pocket or has been turned face down. With the new update, the phone will also welcome a new voice assistant.
