At €200 the phone seems to be quite a great deal
French manufacturer Wiko presents what is going to be first ever smartphone featuring the Tegra 4i chipset and it is going to be named as WAX. The phone is going to come with a quad-core Tegra 4i with four Cortex-A9 cores and is going to run at 1.7 GHz. It hosts a GPU which has 60 cores instead 72 which were featured on the former Tegra 4.
The handset was presented at the infamous MWC event which took place last month at Barcelona and at that point, the screen appeared to be the highlighting factor of the phone and was liked by all. The Tegra 4i chipset was also benchmarked and the results derived from this turned out to be quite good and if we consider the pricing, the overall packaged appears to be a good deal. There is a 4.7" display featured on the phone with a resolution of 720p along with a 5 MP front and 8 MP back camera.
The Wiko Wax is a great phone which also features a built in LTE being the first NVIDIA Tegra SoC with on-die LTE. The phone will be coming out next month and will hit retail at a price of €200 which doesnt seem too much to pay for such a great phone. The availability details have been confirmed for Italy but Germany and France will be getting theirs too.
