All new Murano will debut next month
Nissan has been selling the Murano crossover SUV for a number of years with nothing but a few minor changes. That will change for the 2015 model year when Nissan rolls out an all-new Murano that is completely redesigned.
Nissan says that the new car will display Nissan's new Nissan Design language for future production vehicles. I expect the new Murano will have a familial resemblance to other Nissan models that have been redesigned in recent years.
Nissan completely redesigned the Pathfinder and Rogue making the two look very similar. I would be surprised if the new Murano strays too far from that same familial design.
Nissan says that the all-new Murano will make its official world debut on April 16 at the New York International Auto Show. Ahead of that official world debut, Nissan is offering up a teaser video and image of the new Murano. It looks like the headlights will have a shape similar to other Nissan SUVs.
The new Murano will clearly be a four door and it looks to be the same basic size as the current model. Nissan promises an all-new exterior and a spacious, premium interior with lots of safety and connective technology inside. The Murano has been a popular SUV for Nissan and it is an important model. Nissan continues to work hard to get fresh model on the market with the new Pathfinder, Rogue, Sentra, Versa Note, and Altima all landing in the last year or so.
