How to install incompatible applications to your Android device?

Have you ever found an application in your app store that you feel it will suit your needs and after downloading it you get the error message “your device is not compatible with this application”?

Lucky for us, the IT gurus have not been sleeping. These guys have come up with steps with which one can install incompatible apps on your mobile device. This enables you to have whatever you like installed in your mobile device irrespective of what your phone indicates, especially for Android users.

  • Bypass device restrictions – This is one of the easiest steps as far as installing incompatible apps in your device is concerned. This involves changing the build Prop file, which is used to identify the model of your device. With a rooted Android device, one can easily edit the build Prop file of a device to appear as a completely different device and therefore be able to install applications that are termed compatible with that other device. With the help of an application named Market Helper app, one is able to spoof another device without editing the build Prop file. Then download the application required and restart the device and there you will have your application installed.
  • There are other tricks that can be used to install country restricted applications. For example, you can use a VPN to fool Google into thinking that your device is in another country. Unlike the other method of bypassing the device restrictions, this method of using a different VPN does not require a root access. Download a free VPN e.g. Tunnel Bear app which gives free data every month. Then, restart the Android device and connote to the VPN of the required country then open Google play and download the application you require.
  • Install the applications APK file – Whenever an application is termed as incompatible with your device, you can always find its APK from the recognized country and side load it to your device. Although some of the APKs side loaded to phones may be risky and could contain viruses, there are others from known websites that can be downloaded safely. Alternatively, someone from the country where the application installation is required can extract the applications APK from his or her phone and send it to you.
  • Upgrading your Android operating system can also help – There are some applications that are only compatible with higher versions of the Android operating system. Therefore, update your device to the latest operating system in order for you to enjoy the comfort of some of the applications. For example, the Chrome browser is only available for Android versions 4.0 and above so for you to enjoy the comfort of browsing offered by the Google Chrome and you have a lower version of Android, then you need to upgrade to 4.0 and above.
With these few tips, one can be able to enjoy the comforts of almost all the applications on the Google play store without any problem. All the power now belongs to you!
