The S5 units purchased from a South Korean carrier have made their way in to the US market and are available at Amazon and WElectronics
South Korea gets its share of the Samsung Galaxy S5 as SK Telecom releases the phone on the 27th of March and this was quite unexpected since this was way befpore the official launch of the phone which remains to be April 11. However, the carrier may have a strong reason for such an action and it is reacting pretty well to the circumstances. They have faced a 45 day ban which prevents them from having any new customers and this was their perfect chance to attract a larger lot which will compensate for this 45 days long ban.
It does sound exciting knowing that the S5 is already out there way before its official release and many people have been trying to get their hands on it. Also, there are only a few retailers who have bought the S5 contract free from the carrier and since they have already brought it stateside, you can find them on Amazon starting from $820 and on WElectronics for $900. The phone was already available for pre order across the globe and now it is available to be purchased right away. Only those should get their hands on this prematurely available S5 who really cant wait for another day even. However, it would be a good option to wait and 11 days dont seem to be such a long time and you will also get to save a lot because these S5 units are the overly priced imports.
The Galaxy S5 is not the only Samsung device we are looking forward to because we have got news that the Samsung Gear 2 Neo and Gear Fit smart wearables is also available for purchase in the UK but at the moment there is only retailer who is selling the black units of these devicces while other retailers have only listed them as 'coming soon'. But now that the S5 is already here, we dont think we will have to wait long enough for the Gear lineup.
