Samsung Galaxy S5 owns the best performing display

There is certainly no doubting the performance of the Samsung Galaxy S5 and this time it comes with a new bang! Apparently, the new Samsung flagship has the best display which could possibly have been on a smartphone. Dr. Raymond M. Soneira’s findings in the latest DisplayMate report were all related to quality, performance and overall satisfaction of various displays on the market’s top-tier handsets. Among all the phones studied throughout the survey, the best performing screen belongs to the Samsung Galaxy S5. And Samsung must be pretty psyched to hear that it has received a heart touching comment by Dr. Soneira who says that S5′s display is the best that he has ever tested.

A lot of work was put into the making of this Samsung flagship and certainly it has paid off at this moment and this marks the success of the most popular phone of the time. Though there a lot of upgrades but as it appears, the new flagship surprisingly does not contain any significant increase in physical display size or resolution. This might leave us all wondering how the phone managed to get the best display results of all time. Well, this was achieved not because of the display size or the resoltuion but because of the collective efforts being put in by the company for the fine tuning of its already impressive AMOLED technology. This has helped them to achieve improvement in areas of viewing angles, display brightness, power efficiency and color accuracy and this work has surely paid off.

Though LED is the new platform for the smartphones at the moment but Samsung has done execptionally well with its OLED displays in S4 and now with the S5, this OLED technology has been taken to a whole new level. It performs better for the S5 and also shows higher marks in almost “every single test and measurement category” that the devices were subjected to.
