Xbox users get free access to Season 4 premiere of Game of Thrones
Great news for all the die hard fans of one of the most loved shows of all times, 'Game of Thrones'. If they somehow missed on the first episode of the new Season 4, they are in for a huge treat this week because thanks to the generosity of HBO, they are giving free access to the users of Xbox. These fans can now watch the episode which falls between April 8th and April 14th and it doesnt even matter whether they have subscribed to the premium TV service.
Gratis access is also available by some cable and satellite providers which they are managing to provide through their on on-demand platforms and websites. Well let's not make HBO the hero here because all this generosity isnt selfless after all and isnt merely generosity. They are giving HBO a chance to advertise a show à la Silicon Valley and also free content could steer some of the many people pirating Game of Thrones toward legitimate sources. An argument has been placed by the CEO of Time Warner who says that piracy promotes HBO's series.

The “geek mind” is concerned with more than just the latest iPhone rumors, or which company will win the gaming console wars. I4U is concerned with more than just the latest photo shoot or other celebrity gossip.
The “geek mind” is concerned with life, in all its different forms and facets. The geek mind wants to know about societal and financial issues, both abroad and at home. The geek mind wants to know the top teams in the National Football League, or who’s likely to win the NBA Finals this coming year. The geek mind wants to know who the hottest new models are, or whether the newest blockbuster movie is worth seeing. The geek mind wants to know. The geek mind wants—needs—knowledge.
