Well, Roselyn Sanchez, who plays the role of maid Carmen Luna on screen, said that many more bloody scenes of guts, guns and gore lay in the future for Devious Maids.
Now what that means is that things are getting more and more deviant for the devious mamas shown on the program. The actress, who is of Puerto Rican origin, said that there are definitely more unexpected deaths that will take place willy-nilly.
"There are deaths," revealed Roselyn Sanchez, adding that there’s "a new murder mystery happening, new families, and a lot of changes."
Enigmas and conundrums will sprout out of nowhere and whole families will be joining the cast. In other words, we are in for a whole lot of changes that are bound to occur.
The most obvious metamorphosis that is to happen is in the reel life of her costar Ana Ortiz. She has been wed off to a very rich man who has certain skeletons in his closet.
"Ana has her own maid, which is crazy! And she’s engaged to this very wealthy man and she’s going through this ,’who is he — for real?" said Sanchez. "Because he’s a little bit devious, actually. He has secrets."
Meanwhile, when Roselyn Sanchez was asked about her new skit on the show, she said that she was becoming the trophy wife of a homosexual celebrity husband who wanted to hide his real identity from the media and the rest of the world.
"Carmen is out of her mind," Sanchez told FoxNews. "She decides to forget about love and become the beard for Alejandro Rubio (Matt Cedeno) because he’s gay and a big pop star and he doesn’t want the world to know he’s gay. So I become his trophy wife."
"And then thinking that’s going to change my life dramatically and I’m going to accomplish my dreams, but of course everything goes wrong and she’s completely out of touch with reality and [makes] bad choices and insanity. But I love her. She’s crazy."
And then according to her things will start to get chaotic and haphazard on Devious Maids. Everything gets a little crazy and the twists and turns of plot and narrative turn out to heighten the human interest factor for the audience.
"Everybody went crazy because the title was 'Devious Maids' and it’s not even about that. Forget about the title — it’s about five fabulous women and it’s our point of view. I think once people started seeing the show, the shift was immediate. Everybody that was negative, now they’re like, ‘oh my God, I actually love it.’ It’s been fantastic and a blessing to see everybody just love it," she said.
While Sanchez does have lots of flirtatious takes on camera she has refused to do any more nude scenes. She also heaped oodles of praise on the show’s producer (and her friend) Eva Longoria who served as a symbol of hope and inspiration for the Latinas of the world.
