The Indian market gets the One M8, Desire 816 and Desire 210 today

Today marks an important day for HTC as it launches three phones in the Indian market including the new flagship HTC One (M8). The phone is available there for ₹49,990 which is approximately $825 and this doesnt come as a surprise that this price tag is lower than the price of Samsung Galaxy S5 in India. We already are well aware of the specs and details features of this one so we are going to skip on these details.

HTC One, for obvious reasons, formed the highlight of the launches and apart from this is the Desire 816 which has been priced at ₹23,990 ($395) and is a dual SIM phone. The phone sports a 5.5-inch display with a 720p resolution and is powered by the 1.6GHz quad-core Snapdragon 400 processor. It has an impressive 1.5GB RAM and the camera setup includes a 13 megapixel rear camera and a 5 megapixel front camera.

The third launch was the brand new Desire 210 and is again a dual SIM phone by HTC and is priced at ₹8,700 ($143) and is the cheapest of this range. It has a 4 inch 800x480 resolution LCD and runs on the 1 GHz dual-core Mediatek MT6572M processor. Its camera setup includes a main camera of 5 MP and a VGA front camera. The phone comes with Android 4.2 Jelly Bean.
