Cynthia Ruddell has sued for $250,000 for damages after a pet duck attacked her
The world has always been an abode for fears and all sorts of dangers and we know them all and know how to stay away. Let's name a few such as viruses, earthquakes, unhealthy meats and then terrorists but then there are some dangers which we are not even aware of and their existance might not even have come to our attention previously.
Now let's talk about the seemingly innocent ducks; they are cute, fluffy and seem too timid to interact with the humans. But there seems to be a hidden danger on their agenda and as it has recently appeared, they might not be the most innocent of all creatures out there. Here we are talking about Cynthia Ruddell who has sued for $250,000 for damages after a pet duck attacked her and she didnt see it coming from nowhere.
The incident took place in May 2012 when 62 year old Cynthia Ruddell of Washougal, Washington, was on her mother's property in Estacada, Oregon, which is located about 25 miles southeast of Portland and this is when a neighbor's duck attacked her. And according to the suit which was filed in Oregon state court on last Friday, there was absolutely no provocation and she didnt see any reason why the duck would attack her. As she was trying to run away from the duck and escape from its attack, Ruddell landed to the ground and ended up with a few injuries. She claims breaking her right wrist and spraining an elbow and shoulder and this has been mentioned in the suit she filed. The accusation is entirely faced by the pet's owner and neighbor, Lolita Rose, as she failed to maintain control of her pet.
The media however does not know of the anit-duck affiliations of the woman and it is indeed sad that the duck had to be put away after the incident. The poor little animal would have been much better off swimming in some pond int he wild.
