The phone will most likely be part of the Galaxy Mega family and features a 7 inch display

The mention of a 7 inch display on any device certainly clicks the word 'tablet' and definitely not a smartphone. But here it is; Samsung's SM-T2558 begs to differ with a 7-inch HD display which is here to upstage all others in the market. With a 7 inch display, Samsung's new phone has left behind the former biggest phone, the Hisense X1 with 6.8 inches of display. A Chinese electronics certification website TENAA gave a glimpse of the phone where it had been resting waiting for its approval and this gave us a chance of get more details out of it.

It is expected that the phone will become part of the Galaxy Mega family and if it does end up there then it will likely be named as Samsung Galaxy Mega 7.0 for obvious reasons. Moving on to the specs, which are not so impressive considering it has the largest displays of all when it comes to smartphones, the phone is going to be powered by quad-core 1.2GHz processor with 1.5GB of RAM. The camera setup includes an 8 MP main camera and a 2 MP front facing camera and this has comes along with 8 GB of storage which is expandable. The phone also offers the Chines 3G and 4G connectivity iterations namely TD-SCDMA and TD-LTE and will run on Android 4.3 Jelly Bean OS.
