Apple's latest iOS 7.1.1 not only brings the security updates, touch ID improvements and bug fixes, but it also brings in its wake iPhone battery life improvement. A recent analysis from ZDNet's Adrian Kingsley reveals that the latest iOS 7.1.1 update dramatically improves iPhone battery life.

Adrian collected the data for this iPhone 5 battery life after updating his device with all three iOS 7 updates. He found out that when he updated his iPhone 5 with iOS 7.0 OS, the battery of his fully-charged iPhone went down to 74 percent after six hours of use.

But the iOS 7.1 update brought down his iPhone battery significantly down. His fully-charged iPhone battery went down to 48 percent after six hours of use. It is a significant drop.

But, now he updated his iPhone with iOS 7.1.1 OS, and things changed for the better. After six hours of use, his fully-charged iPhone battery went down by almost 76 percent. It is a major improvement. And iOS 7.1.1 is even better than iOS 7.1 in terms of battery life.

However, Adrian stated that "this is data collected by my handset (other handsets show a similar pattern) and is based on my apps and my usage of them. Your mileage will undoubtedly vary."

Meanwhile, a recent report also reveals that iOS 7.1.1 code hints Siri is coming for Apple TV.
