John Boyega is Most Searched Star Wars Episode 7 Cast Member

The Star Wars Episode 7 cast has been officially revealed yesterday. Star Wars fans have been most curious about young actor John Boyega, topping Google Search trends overall by far with 2m queries.

The secret is finally out. J.J. Abrams revealed his cast for Star Wars Episode 7 yesterday. John Boyega, Daisy Ridley, Adam Driver, Oscar Isaac, Andy Serkis, Domhnall Gleeson, and Max von Sydow will join the original cast members of Star Wars, Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher, Mark Hamill, Anthony Daniels, Peter Mayhew, and Kenny Baker.

A lot has been talked about the return of Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher and Mark Hamill. By the way Harrison has definitely aged the best among the three. The most interest triggered though John Boyega yesterday. Google Trends ranks his anme as the most searched term with more than 2 million queries. This is quite a lot in comparison. No other cast member is listed in the top search terms for yesterday. 

To get an idea what 2 million queries mean. The last term that got 2 million queries was Donald Sterling last weekend, when the big racist scandal broke.

So who is John Boyega? He is a 22-year-old British actor, best known for playing Moses in the 2011 sci-fi film Attack the Block. And now he hit the jackpot by being cast in the next Star Wars movie out December 2015. See the latest photos of John Boyega.

Daisy Ridley also is a young British actress that is part of the Episode 7 cast. She only started to appear in TV series starting last year.
