For now, Naya Rivera is to leave the Glee's 5th season finale. And there will be a big space left behind in her place. Who fills it is anyone’s lucky guess. And whether she will come back to avenge her role remains to be seen.
According to E! News, "Though the original plan was to include Naya in the final episode of the season, slated for May 13, her character Santana Lopez has been written out of the script, we are told by multiple sources."

Although the actress and glamour girl was slated to appear in the last episode of Glee, fate had other plans. There had been rumors of a catfight between Naya and Lea on set due to which this step was taken in the first place. But in actuality there is no truth to this statement.
"[Naya] isn't fired and her not being in the finale has nothing to do with Lea," says one source who works on Glee. "I don't know where these stories are coming from, but they are not true."
The parent network that deals with the show, Fox TV has failed to comment any further regarding the whole situation. But hear Naya’s representative spokespersons and you get a different picture. According to them, Naya is going nowhere. She is here to stay.
Rivera's rep tells E! News, "Any reports or rumors circulating that Naya Rivera was let go or fired from Glee are absolutely untrue. End of story."
Whether Naya will make a surprise comeback for the sixth season of Glee which is about to go on air soon remains a moot point. An interregnum in the shooting was a much-needed factor in the cast’s stress relief efforts.
Everyone needed a break badly and so things still have not been finalized. The organization of a new cast for the next season’s shooting will require quit a few changes and substitutions. Whether Naya’s luck runs dry or she is included in the ensemble is still undecided.
However, the cast members say that no one has been forced to leave the show. Naya plays the character known as Santana Lopez on the show. She had part of her recent role on Glee fine-tuned by the director.
Meanwhile, the word is out that anyone is welcome aboard the boat that is Glee. Everyone who was a part of the original list of unforgettable characters is clearly an asset and not a liability.
