Samsung Galaxy Gear 2 and Gear 2 Neo gain turn-by-turn navigation
If you want to bring out the best of the traveler inside you then it is time to turn on the explorer mode with your Turn-by-turn navigation. Soon you will realize that this is one the best things to have at hand if you are planning to explore a city. However, it is certainly not desirable to keep looking back at your phone; this doesn’t even let you enjoy the surroundings. But you don’t have to worry about doing that now because the guys from Symphony Teleca have brought the feature to your Gear 2-touting wrist, you no longer have to.
The turn by turn app was initially brought by these guys in March for the original Samsung Galaxy Gear and now it has managed to port it to its Tizen-powered successors. Even though the platform has been changed, the app still has the same core functionality. The map data is drawn from the HERE Maps of Nokia and then you would have to plan your route on your smartphone. Once you are done doing that, you just have to slip the phone in your pocket and the rest of the task will be handled by your smart wearable.
The “geek mind” is concerned with more than just the latest iPhone rumors, or which company will win the gaming console wars. I4U is concerned with more than just the latest photo shoot or other celebrity gossip.
The “geek mind” is concerned with life, in all its different forms and facets. The geek mind wants to know about societal and financial issues, both abroad and at home. If a Fortune 500 decides to raise their minimum wage, or any high priority news, the geek mind wants to know. The geek mind wants to know the top teams in the National Football League, or who’s likely to win the NBA Finals this coming year. The geek mind wants to know who the hottest new models are, or whether the newest blockbuster movie is worth seeing. The geek mind wants to know. The geek mind wants—needs—knowledge.
