HTC One: Mini 2 to Lack HTC One M8's Duo Camera

HTC is already reported to be working on next mini version of its HTC One. The alleged next mini version of HTC One is called HTC One Mini 2. And serial leaker @evleaks has recently posted a render image of the rumored HTC One Mini 2 smartphone

This alleged picture have no surprise at all. It shows a smartphone that is almost like its predecessor but a little smaller in size. According to Engadget, this render image revealed that the upcoming HTC One Mini 2 smartphone "lacks the HTC One M8's depth-sensing Duo Camera."

It means that the next version of HTC One Mini will not have selective focus in it that is the main feature of HTC One M8's Duo camera. And there will also not present the depth-sensing camera features too. The render images did not reveal any more features.

However, some previous reports hints that HTC One Mini 2 can have a 4.5-inch display screen of 720 x 1280p resolution, 1.4 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 400 processor, 1GB RAM, 16GB internal memory, Android 4.4 OS, a microSD slot and a 13MP camera at the back but it will not be an UltraPixel camera.

HTC One Mini 2 is said to come in three colors of white, gray and champagne. But this leaked image of HTC One Mini 2 do not match with its previously leaked press render image by Phonearena. So we cannot make a clear sketch of the upcoming smartphone. We have to wait for the official launch of the alleged HTC One Mini 2 smartphone to know the list of confirmed specs.
