Jennifer Aniston has one of the best hairdos in the entire film industry. But did you know that it was an achievement and not something she was born with.
Aniston is indeed very proud of her long golden tresses but she said that they caused her quite a lot of embarrassment back in the days when she was just a little girl.
"It's funny and entertaining in a way and it's of course very flattering to say the least," Aniston told ABC News of the attention she gets. "But I always have such a chuckle when I hear people saying I have great hair because as a kid it was always a challenge."
However, at present she maintains her hair on an even keel by washing them every three days. That is not very high maintenance at all. Sometimes she will up the ante and wash those filaments of keratin every other day.
Aniston employs the Living Proof hair care products. And she is the brand ambassador for the product line. According to Aniston, she doesn’t have any problems with buildup thanks to the products which suit her just fine. Nor does her hair get gunk in it thanks to Living Proof.
"I don’t get a lot of product build-up with Living Proof and my hair doesn’t get dirty straight away," she said. "I wash my hair with No Frizz Shampoo and Conditioner. And with PHD Styling Treatment I can air-dry and style my hair in 10 minutes, when it used to take 25 minutes."
Aniston has gone ahead and recommended her regimen for others facing problems with their hair. She uses No Frizz Shampoo and Conditioner to boot. Furthermore, she says that with PHD styling procedure, she can whip her hair into shape within ten minutes flat. Aniston confesses that her favorite indulgence was having her hairstyle made up into a short do by her hairstylist for the Friends series. However, the hairstyle for the character of Rachel was such a pain in the neck for Aniston that she thanks heaven those days are over.
"The 'Rachel' was one of the hardest hairstyles to maintain. Me and the blow dryer and the hairbrush weren’t meant for each other," Aniston admitted. "It really was a ‘hairdo’. When Chris would style it my hair would be great, it would look gorgeous. But then when I was left to my own devices, it wouldn’t look the same!"
Jennifer’s issues with her hair are a very common feature among women. Usually anyone looking at them from outside would think they had it made with such beautiful hair. But when you look inside their soul, it was another story altogether. They had obvious issues with their strands, even if they were the silkiest and most golden filaments on earth.
