Jane Fonda admits this much that she feels a bit odd writing a novel. She is 76 years of age and sure doesn’t look that old. And while she has written several books previously, she has yet to produce a fictional work.
Her literary talent will come out in the open for the critics’ scathing reviews. And so she is hesitant to venture forth with the word processor.
Fonda has written two autobiographies in the past. But this time she is breaking fresh ground with this foray into the world of the imagination and make-belief.
She will have to take care of such unfamiliar concepts as plot, narrative and climax not to mention anti-climax. The book that Jane Fonda is to create out of the alphabetical repertoire of words is to be titled Amanda’s Secrets.
And she is not letting out anything regarding the details about the novel. It is to be kept a top secret. "I'm not going to tell you what [the novel is] about,” she said with a grin on her face.
Her acting activities remain extant though. She is to appear in a show with Lily Tomlin titled Grace and Frankie. "The humour will come out of the pain and out of reality," she said. "If we should be so lucky as to be thought of for awards, you don't know quite what category to put it in. I'm so excited."
Meanwhile, Tomb Raider Angelina Jolie and Jane Fonda have been seen wearing similar apparels on numerous occasions. Their silk gowns that reach all the way to the red carpet were one of these similarities that didn’t go unnoticed by the crowds that were present.
According to Telegraph, "Ange and Jane are partial to masculine tailoring on the red carpet, with both actresses enjoying red carpet moments in luxe dark tailoring from the likes of Saint Laurent and Reem Acra, respectively. It was thus a surprise for Planet Fashion when Jolie plumped for an ultra-feminine, beaded Elie Saab Couture confection for the 2014 Oscars."
Then their pants and jackets in black also bore a striking resemblance to each other provoking further comments by the information-hungry media and curious public.
With clearly smart style-worthy clothes and a book on the way Jane will be making a name for herself at a geriatric age when most people vegetate in old people’s homes.
