Samsung G9098 Android-powered flip phone crops up in China
You are not the only one if you get surprised or more honestly shocked after looking at someone who is using a flip phone. Those are everyone’s thoughts I guess however we would be wrong to think that these flip phones are completely outdated. Because Samsung does tend to roll out one every once in a while just like it’s doing now.
This is the Samsung G9098 and is a dual-SIM, dual-standby Android smartphone which has been designed for China and features not just one but two 3.67" Super AMOLED touchscreens of WVGA resolution (480 x 800). The two touchscreens allow the users to use the phone both open and closed.
The Samsung G9098 is going to run on Android and will be powered by the Snapdragon 80x chipset (quad-core 2.3GHz CPU) however no exact model number is known at this point. You will find the camera setup pretty impressive with a 13MP main camera and a 2MP front-facing camera, plus a microSD card slot. The phone 117 x 59.5 x 15.8mm and weighs 179g and this means that you might find it thicker and heavier than the usual phones you are used to.
The “geek mind” is concerned with more than just the latest iPhone rumors, or which company will win the gaming console wars. I4U is concerned with more than just the latest photo shoot or other celebrity gossip.
The “geek mind” is concerned with life, in all its different forms and facets. The geek mind wants to know about societal and financial issues, both abroad and at home. If a Fortune 500 decides to raise their minimum wage, or any high priority news, the geek mind wants to know. The geek mind wants to know the top teams in the National Football League, or who’s likely to win the NBA Finals this coming year. The geek mind wants to know who the hottest new models are, or whether the newest blockbuster movie is worth seeing. The geek mind wants to know. The geek mind wants—needs—knowledge.
