A supersized appeal to the Nevada Supreme Court has been submitted by O.J. Simpson's lawyers and it states that they are seeking the release of the former football star from prison. This was not all; the appeal was also seeking a new trial in his 2007 Las Vegas armed-robbery case.
A deadline was given to his lawyers till the midnight of Wednesday and by that time they have to submit a request which asks the court to review the claim once again which stated that the 2008 trail held in Las Vegas was tainted by his fame and notoriety following his 1995 acquittal in Los Angeles in the deaths of his ex-wife and her friend.
The document however contained far more words than the deadline which the court had allowed. On Thursday it was revealed that the document contained 19,993 words according to court spokesman Michael Sommermeyer and this exceeded the 14,000-word limit the court had set by 43 percent.
Now it all depends on the seven justices whether they would still consider the document and however long it takes to make the decision, the document is going to stay under the covers. The court also has to decided whether they would like to hear any oral arguments or not.

The “geek mind” is concerned with life, in all its different forms and facets. The geek mind wants to know about societal and financial issues, both abroad and at home. If a Fortune 500 decides to raise their minimum wage, or any high priority news, the geek mind wants to know. The geek mind wants to know the top teams in the National Football League, or who’s likely to win the NBA Finals this coming year. The geek mind wants to know who the hottest new models are, or whether the newest blockbuster movie is worth seeing. The geek mind wants to know. The geek mind wants—needs—knowledge.
