Just like the original Galaxy Mega, this one too is going to sport an extremely thin built complete with an enormous touch screen

It wouldn’t be such a brillian tidea if we referred to Samsung’s upcoming 7-inch ‘Galaxy Mega 2’ as a phone because it doesn’t appear to be like one. The name hasn’t been confirmed as yet but this is less of a phone and more of a tablet with a GSM antenna. We have been hearing about the Mega 2 on the internet but up till now there has been no solid information on the device. The device goes by the model number SM-T2558 and considering that it has made its way through the FCC, the ginormous phone/tablet monstrosity may be making its way stateside.

The device is not just an ordinary tablet with a sim card slot. Just like the original Galaxy Mega, this one too is going to sport an extremely thin built complete with an enormous touch screen. The fact that it is going to be really very thin and that it has been named as the Galaxy Mega 2 makes us think that this is going to be a phone after all.

Some rumors are also suggesting that this device is going to debut alongside another 6” Samsung Galaxy phone which is probably going to be a phablet with the same specs but a smaller screen size.
