According to CBS, Lambert's private jet made an emergency landing in Clarksburg, West Virginia, on Tuesday while transporting the singer from New York City (where she'd appeared on Good Morning America) to Nashville for the CMTs. The plane reportedly lost pressure while in the air and was grounded for three hours, Lambert's publicist Wes Vause told CBS.
However, Lambert seemingly wasn't upset, instead befriending some local firefighters and trying on their platinum suits (appropriately, Platinum is the name of Lambert's new album) before taking back to the skies and landing safely in Nashville.
Lambert has quite the busy schedule in Nashville: she's up for five CMT Awards at Wednesday night's show – she'll also perform a duet of "Something Bad" with Carrie Underwood while there – then hits the stage again Friday night at LP Field for day two of the CMA Music Fest, with husband Blake Shelton by her side reports People.
We are glad she is ok and is safe and sound. It had to be a very scary thing to happen it shows that we are all human and can go at any minute. Celebrity or not you never know when your time is up so be grateful for the time you one. I do believe Miranda Lambert is just that happy and grateful for everything she has that’s what so many love about her.
