Rachel McAdams and Jake Gyllenhaal dine out in Pittsburgh and stirs up the rumor mill.
In "Rachel McAdams and Jake Gyllenhaal Enjoy Dinner Together in Pittsburgh," Brett Malec of E! Online notes 35-year-old Rachel McAdams and 33-year-old Jake Gyllenhaal were spotted eating out earlier this week in Pittsburgh. The two were on a break before beginning to film "Southpaw."
Instagram user michealeduganier snapped the pic of a night out with the comment: “Why is my girlfriend Rachel McAdams eating dinner with Jake Gyllenhaal.”
Is it romance or friendship?
No one knows exactly, but the couple seems cozy while chowing down at Meat and Potatoes. The restaurant's comfort food name and upscale decoration make the intent a little difficult to claim. McAdams looked dressed up in a snazzy green jacket and side-swept bangs with a messy braid.
Looking animated and happy in the conversation, Gyllenhaal looked relaxed in a tee-shirt and black track pants. A source reported to E! that they "loved" and "finished everything."
Is it romance? It’s been reported the two are nothing more than “strictly friends and co-stars.” However, New York Daily New’s Rachel Maresca notices McAdams hasn’t been attached to anyone since breaking up with actor Michael Sheen. And in "Rachel McAdams, Jake Gyllenhaal dine out together in Pittsburgh," Maresca mentions recent rumors he may be reattached to model Alyssa Miller.
The two are in town to film “Southpaw,” which centers on a boxer who sees professional success while his private life begins to crumble.
“Southpaw” isn’t the only thing the actress will be appearing in this summer.
