Devinder Kumar, CFO at chip maker AMD alluded to the fact that the next-gen consoles may already be in the works
Considering the product life cycle of the PS3 and Xbox 360, the current gen consoles are merely babies who still have a lot of room to grow. At this time we certainly wouldn’t be expecting anyone to even bring up the PS5 and Xbox 2. But even if someone did, they wouldn’t be the ones to blame. Thanks to the new tech developments, our life has taken a faster car and consumers are always looking forward to the ‘latest’ of everything. Though the two gaming consoles wont be as close to us but we are hearing that the work on the two has already begun.
It initially came out from Devinder Kumar, CFO at chip maker AMD who alluded to the fact that the next-gen consoles may already be in the works. Though no further comments or details were spilled on this one, we are suspecting that the clues would soon follow. However, we can also choose to be skeptical about his announcement because this was stated at the Bank of America Merrill Lynch Global Technology Conference on Thursday. But we must keep in mind that Kumar is a source we can all trust because the current consoles are powered by AMD chips.
