Burger King Whopper Fanatic Gets you a Free Burger During World Cup 2014

Burger King in France just launched the Whopper Fanatic campaign that can land you a free Whopper. All you have to do is show up in your team's shirt while they are playing and you will get a free Whopper. Burger King is not an official sponsor of the FIFA World Cup 2014, so the commercial avoids mentioning the World Cup.

Burger King wants you to prove that your love of the Whopper is stronger than your love for your team. Burger King teamed up with ad agency Buzzman to come up with this promotion that will be a tough choice for football fans.

Watch the Burger King Whopper Fanatic commercial below.

The World Cup 2014 will start today. The Opening Ceremony starts at 2pm ET.

About the Geek Mind

The “geek mind” is concerned with more than just the latest iPhone rumors, or which company will win the gaming console wars. I4U is concerned with more than just the latest photo shoot or other celebrity gossip.

The “geek mind” is concerned with life, in all its different forms and facets. The geek mind wants to know about societal and financial issues, both abroad and at home. If a Fortune 500 decides to raise their minimum wage, or any high priority news, the geek mind wants to know. The geek mind wants to know the top teams in the National Football League, or who’s likely to win the NBA Finals this coming year. The geek mind wants to know who the hottest new models are, or whether the newest blockbuster movie is worth seeing. The geek mind wants to know. The geek mind wants—needs—knowledge.
