Microsoft’s Surface Pro 3 has already gone up for pre order on the online store of the company and it will soon hit the brick-and-mortar Microsoft and BestBuy retailers in the US in limited quantities. There are going to be two different models and will ship on different time intervals.
The Intel Core i5 128GB/256GB models will ship by June 30 in the US, while the Core i3 base model with 64GB of internal storage, as well as the high-end Core i7 models with 256GB/512GB memory will start shipping on August 1.The pre orders have also begun in the European regions but they will just have to wait a bit longer for their shipments which are going to start from August 31. And as far as the prices are concerned, the base Core i3 unit will start at $799/€799, all the way up to $1,949/€1,949 for the Core i7 model.
The Surface Pro 3 is going to run on the Windows 8.1 which will benefit from Intel’s Core family’s horsepower alongside having a compact nature of a tablet.
