Although rumors were rife about her having had a tough time as well as being in trouble with the law, she has made a miraculous recovery from these problems.
Now she has made a beeline for the show. Lisa stated on her Twitter account that she would be making an appearance in the fifth season. She furthermore spoke of how 5 was her lucky number and so she was really exhilarated about the reality TV show.
She has her very own Vanderpump Rules show which portrays the daily working of her restaurant Sur located in West Hollywood.
In the previous season of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, Lisa Vanderpump got in a nasty tiff with Kyle Richards, Brando Glanville and some of the other lasses on the show. They said that she made snide remarks about them. She had then proceeded to act like she couldn’t care less for the show.
Brandi Glanville, Kyle Richards, Kim Richards and Yolanda Foster are all expected to return for season 5 of TRHOBH. But Joyce Giraud and Carlton Gebbia will not be coming back to strut their stuff on the show. The season 5 will hopefully air this fall.
Meanwhile, the really shocking fact for Lisa Vanderpump was her restaurant, Villa Blanca, losing a lot of money due to a harassment suit brought by one of its waitresses.
Her restaurant Villa Blanca fell on bad times as a waitress, Karina Bustillos, got awarded $100,000 for harassment charges she brought against the manager.
Lisa once again took to Twitter to express her sadness at an innocent manager getting caught up in a case where the waitress took all the money.
Hard to comprehend how my manager is totally innocent but vb gets damages against them for something that didn't happen. Losing faith.— Lisa Vanderpump (@LisaVanderpump) June 17, 2014
The $100,000 were simply too large an amount to be given to an ordinary waitress. And her charges are false for all appearances. There is no proof of any manhandling by the manager.
Yet the jury awarded the waitress so much cash. Lisa’s lawyers are to appeal the verdict. Lisa Vanderpump’s attorney said, “We are in absolute shock at the amount of punitive damages that were awarded.”
"Especially in light of nominal compensatory damages awarded and the lack of evidence ... We plan to file an appeal and are confident that we will prevail.”
But then Lisa earns more per season of TRHOBH than you could imagine so giving $100,000 to a waitress is peanuts for this woman.
