The sister of Kate, Pippa Middleton, took part in a candid interview yesterday. She gives her first ever TV interview to Today's Matt Lauer.
As the sister of Kate Middleton, Pippa has a right to fame on her own personal basis. Recently, she gave a no-holds barred interview in which she told all there was to tell regarding the new found popularity due to being a close relative of the Duchess of Cambridge.

The interview took place on TV and it lent a first hand view into the life of Pippa Middleton. Pippa is exactly 30 years of age. And she called a spade a spade and laid her soul bare in the interview.
Today's Matt Lauer had to come to London for her interview. "I flew overnight to interview someone who's gotten an awful lot of attention over the past two or three years, yet who has never sat down to do a television interview," Lauer said at start of interview.
Pippa Middleton laughed continuously when she was asked regarding her charity campaign which she saw through awhile back. She loves parties too and plans them in great detail seeing to all the painstaking small stuff.
Then she participated in a 3000 mile marathon cycle race too. It covered the distance from coast to coast in the United States. She and her brother set off on a journey across 12 states of the US.
"She was riding in a bike event, and instead of me being able to interview her there, I had to fly 3,000 miles to interview you here. What's up with that?" Lauer said.
When the interviewer asked her why she had not talked with the media some time back, she answered by saying that it was due to the bike race she had been engaged in.
She had taken part in the bicycle race with her brother in order to raise enough money for a charity. And in the interview she had revealed vital information about herself as Pippa Middleton.
Lauer gave the audience a clue about the interview. "We talked a lot in just the last hour about this great bike event she did across America, money she raised for two really great charities and we are also going to hear about what is like to be Pippa Middleton," Lauer revealed.
"These have been extraordinary two or three years for Pippa and she talks about that a lot."
This exclusive interview of Pippa Middleton will air worldwide in two parts on TODAY Monday, June 30 and Tuesday, July 1.
Some other reports also suggest that NBC wants to offer this active lady a 350,000 pounds job as a correspondent for their TV network.
According to the Telegraph, “NBC’s offer to Miss Middleton, who still writes for Vanity Fair magazine, could be for her to take a similar role as Chelsea Clinton’s on Today, appearing in special reports rather than speaking about her famous family.”
She is basically a party planner and that is her forte. Whether she will be suitable for a vocation in the capacity of correspondent remains a moot point.
Recently, her book Celebrate came out too. Pippa Middleton has generally stayed away from the media’s very shadow. So the recent interview was a pleasant surprise of sorts.
One of the senior members of NBC has however denied that Pippa will be offered a big fat paycheck as correspondent any time soon. He has said that such a view is royally mistaken.
He said, “This is 100 percent not true and it seems anyone suggesting otherwise is ‘royally’ jealous.”
