Costco has started selling Apple products again after 18 months with big discounts. Costco's brick-and-mortar and online stores are now offering up to $120 discount off on the retail prices of current iPhone and iPad models.
Both Costco and Apple reached a "mutual agreement" to end their partnership in late 2010. The reason to end this partnership was not revealed. But the situation has changed now.
Costco or Wireless Advocates has managed to sign a deal with Apple for the sale of its current products on big discounts of up to 60 percent on select devices. But the terms of the deal are unknown.
Now you can buy a 16GB iPhone 5S for just $78. The original contract price of iPhone 5S is $199. And Costco Wireless is offering Apple devices from the top four U.S. carriers. They are AT&T, Verizon, Sprint and T-Mobile.
But the discount wholesaler is offering only 16GB versions of iOS devices. And there is a limit for T-Mobile versions too. You cannot buy these online. You can only buy T-Mobile versions in-store and 'come with a $25 Costco Cash card in lieu of cash discounts.'
And as far as a blue iPhone 5C is concerned, only one blue AT&T version of iPhone 5C is available for sale at Costco's web store for $99.
The current iPad models are also for sale at Costco but in limited quantity. And these limited offers are available for only Verizon and T-Mobile branded iPad Air and iPad mini with Retina display versions.
Both Verizon branded iPads are available at $100 off the retail price. iPad Air in silver color is available for $520 and a space grey Retina iPad mini can be bought for $420 on contract.
Only 16GB space grey iPad models of T-Mobile are available. And to purchase any of these models, you have to go to Costco's brick-and-mortar locations with a $25 Costco Cash card discount.
