Shia LaBeouf is in trouble with the law. He was arrested by the NYPD after he started causing mayhem at Studio 54. The star was loud and obnoxious and creating quite a stir with his rough and tough hooliganism. That was when the police had to step in and handcuff him.
ABC News has reported that "LaBeouf, 28, was smoking inside the theater and engaging in other disruptive behavior, police said. When he was asked to leave, he refused and then threatened the officers and people on the sidewalk outside. He was charged with two counts of disorderly conduct and one count of criminal trespassing."
He will be put behind bars so that he can cool off and think about his foul and aggressive behavior. An appearance in the court of law is due too.
An NYPD spokesperson tells Us Weekly that Shia LeBeouf "has been charged with disorderly conduct. He was also charged with criminal trespass. While at Studio 54 he was upsetting patrons, being loud and yelling. He'll be jailed. There will be a court appearance for this matter."
He seems to have been behaving in a very bizarre manner throughout. First he started talking with unknown people like he knew them on a first hand basis.
Then he actually got physical and began to slap some of them on their backsides. Thus the law enforcement authorities had to finally do their job. He started calling the policemen who subdued him vulgar words as well.
"Shia seemed out of sorts," a source tells US Weekly. "He was interacting with strangers during the show and slapping peoples' backsides. He was trying to avoid the police and fell. Then he was cursing at the police while being taken into custody."
The production of Cabaret was taking place in NYC when this incident took place. The show took place on Broadway and featured Michelle Williams and Alan Cumming. When Shia started getting all riled up, he was firmly taken into custody and led out of Studio 54.
Other than the harassment which he took part in, he was constantly chain smoking while in the studio thereby raising a stink of nicotine. And while no charges have been brought against him yet, there will of course be consequences of such wild and crazy behavior which borders on the extremely rash.
A cast member Danny Burstein wrote on Facebook, "Ladies and gentlemen, this is your places call for Act II. Also, to let you know, Shia LaBeouf has just been escorted from the building in handcuffs."
Lena Dunham also tweetd about Shia's arrest.
I feel you Shia: In 1993 I was carried out of Les Mis screaming because I couldn't handle the intimations of death.— Lena Dunham (@lenadunham) June 27, 2014

The Transformers actor was said to have actually started weeping when he was dragged out of the theater. He was clearly not a happy man. The disruptions he caused were probably the result of some drug addiction or serious mental problem he was suffering from.
Shia is otherwise known as a very rational actor who shines on the silver screen. The very fact that he appeared in the Transformers movie means he is no small-time actor. He is A-list material. So, just to think how such a famous man can make such a fool out of himself defies the imagination.
