Robin Thicke Apologizes to Paula Patton; Chris Rock Jokes About Thicke
At the BET Awards 2014, Robin Thicke took to the stage to serenade and say “sorry” to his wife Paula Patton for the second time in a row. He appeared to be very worn out and had dark circles underneath his eyes as he announced that he was going to sing a song for his wife.
"Good evening, my name is Robin Thicke, I’d like to dedicate this song to my wife, and say, 'I miss you, and I’m sorry.' This is called 'Forever Love.'"
Robin Thicke also spoke of how he was very sorry and missed her like crazy. The name of the song was Forever Love and it was punctuated by sniffles from Robin Thicke who just couldn’t control himself when it came to his darling wife. The two had split up after about a decade together.
“If you ever doubt it now, baby, I will be there picking you up," he sang. "You can lean on me any time, baby, for anything you want and need. Yeah, see, I don’t need any reason, memory, or a season. Every day I will believe that you and I are meant to be. You’re my forever love.”
The lyrics were quite meaningful and exposed to the public, Robin’s real feelings regarding his wife which were raw and passionate indeed. He crooned about how she could always depend on him and that she was always on his mind.
The emotionally charged Robin was actually in tears before, during and after the show. "Robin appeared to be crying during and after his performance," the observer told Us Weekly
He was clearly distraught over having lost his wife in the game of life. And it looked like he just couldn’t do without her and was undergoing withdrawal pangs that bordered on the suicidal.
Chris Rock tried to lighten the mood after Robin’s performance by letting loose a one-liner. Chris said that he was so sad as if she didn’t know him.
"He’s singing like she don’t know him," Chris Rock joked. "I miss the other song, the one that sounded like Marvin Gaye.”
It did dispel some of the sadness Robin had created but Robin himself was still dejected and depressed. It seems he is addicted to Paula Patton and just wants to be in her arms.
But the fact of the matter is that Paula couldn’t care less. She is unconscious of the love that her former partner has for her in his heart.
Recently, at an Oscar’s event she even danced to a song by him without the least bit of self-consciousness. If Robin is head over heels in love with his wife, she is unconcerned about him since she is out there enjoying her life.

Cara and Selena were two of the few genuine celebrities there, from what we heard. You may not know Charli XCX by name, but you’ve definitely heard her songs on the radio. She’s the hook singer of Iggy Azalea’s “Fancy.” Her duet with Icona Pop for “I Love It” was very popular. Charli’s new song, “Boom Clap” (see video here) is climbing the charts after appearing on The Fault in our Stars soundtrack. She’s a decent pop singer. Some people compare her to early Madonna, but she reminds me more of a solo Gwen Stefani.
“Fancy” is still everywhere. Journalis ... Source: Celebitchy.com

At the end of last year, Robin Thicke took a lot of heat for both the lyrics of his song, “Blurred Lines,” and the accompanying video. The latter is a transparent instance of a very common strategy for making men look cool: surround them with beautiful and preferably naked women.
It seems especially effective if the men in question act unimpressed and unaffected by, or even disinterested in, the women around them ... Source: Miller-McCune
