Channing Tatum is to star in Foxcatcher and in such a manner that the audience will be in a state of shock. He has appeared in 21 Jump Street before. But now he is slated to make an appearance in Foxcatcher and is going to play an Olympiad wrestler.
His gold medal-winning brother (played by Mark Ruffalo) is shown in the movie to have been murdered by the team’s sponsor. Steve Carell plays du Pont, the evil sponsor.
The director, Bennett Miller won accolades at the Cannes Film Festival for his movie. The psychological thriller is so fast-paced and mindboggling that it will have the audience on the edge of their seats.
The serious topic made for some rather over-serious scenes while shooting and Tatum has confessed that they were not exactly an enjoyable experience.
"It was not a fun experience at all," Tatum told PEOPLE in May. "It was grueling, and it was painful, but it was worth it."
"I missed a stud [in the wall] by about two inches," he said. "But the cut [on my head] and the blood were real."
Foxcatcher is all set to hit theaters on November 14, 2014. Watch the trailer of Channing Tatum's serious looking film below.
On the other hand, in Channing Tatum’s personal life, things are all topsy-turvy. His spouse, Jenna Dewan who appeared in Witches of East End is apparently sick and tired of the affairs he is constantly having and his alcoholism. She wants out.
Jenna is ready to divorce Channing. There are also rumors that Tatum spoke the most callous words on the planet when he said that he never wanted his wife to have a baby in the first place. How rude and insulting could you get?!
And according to sources, the man is a rude one since he hardly seems to give a damn one way or the other. He is often seen with buxom blondes.
And recently he was seen partying hard while filming Foxcatcher in Pittsburgh, P.A. When he was seen with one and she questioned him regarding his wife he simply said that she wasn’t present.
According to an eyewitness (via Classicalite), "Chan bought round after round of shots for tons of adoring girls, and then let them do body-shots of his stomach.
"One girl, a pretty, busty blonde who looked like she was in her early 20's, asked about Jenna.
"She said something like, 'Where's your wife?' and Chan smiled and said, 'She's not here.'"
Tatum actually said publicly that he did not want a kid wiht Dewan.
"We had sort of a crazy hair-brained idea to try to have a kid, and it happened the first time, basically.
"And I don't think we thought it all the way through."
Meanwhile, when Jenna Dewan got a whiff of the news regarding his careless and offhand remarks regarding her and the baby, she was simply outraged.
It was a full frontal assault on her femininity and the sacred institution of motherhood. She is never going to forgive him for the rest of his life for this obvious blunder.
