We love everything about the Mac Pro including its design and its speediness and also the fact that it is quite pricey. Because what else would us them Apple feels? The fact that you have to spend nearly a fortune on purchasing it makes it all the more attractive for the thieves who might be keeping an eye for such expensive devices. The more we spend on a product, the more we feel like it needs protection. Owners of the prestigious Mac Pro do have their own ways of keeping it secure in their homes but it’s even better to know that Apple has taken care of this problem.
Apple has come up with a brand-new lock device which is now available for purchase and starts at the price of merely $49 which is nothing to protect your Mac Pro which probably set you back almost $3000. The "Mac Pro Security Lock Adapter" beats the price of some of the competing locking devices that have sprung up since the Mac Pro's launch last December.
Apple’s description about the lock system says that "The Mac Pro Security Lock Adapter lets you use a compatible Kensington or similar style third-party lock (sold separately) to keep your Mac Pro secure. The adapter attaches without tools and does not modify or damage the Mac. With a compatible lock connected, the Mac Pro Lock Adapter secures the housing to the enclosure, preventing access to internal components."
